See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

An early 18th century traditional stone built family run village local opposite (and older than) the adjacent closed church. The bar area now operates as a shop retaining its historic features including ceiling meat hooks and a wonderful stone floor. The adjacent lounge/dining area and the patio garden have panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The beer is almost always from local micro breweries with the cask beer subject to seasonal variation - No Real Ale in Winter Months! The pub is a 10 minute walk to Llanuwchllyn station on the Bala lake railway (with trains to Bala). Opening times and beer range are reduced in winter. The pub is always open on Sunday but check times.
