Built in 1820, this was an important coaching inn on the historic Telford post route from London to Holyhead. The Grade ll-listed building is recognised by CAMRA as having a nationally important historic pub interior. The four-room interior has not changed since the 1930s and includes a snug, lounges and a large tap room with a full-size snooker table. Bethesda is convenient for buses to the Ogwen Valley and the surrounding mountains.
