The only pub for miles around, the Garthangharad Hotell, circa 1736, extended to a hotel in 1840, is situated in the centre of the village, just over the Afon Gwril bridge.. It has a front lounge, rear bar, and outside courtyard / beer garden with picnic tables. Pub food and accommodation available. Ten minutes walk from railway station on the Cambrian Coast line, and bus stop service nearby.
